Longview Networks’ Institutional Venture & Growth Forum brought together asset owners, consultants and fund managers in London to discuss emerging opportunities in the sector, challenges around scale-up capital and reinforcing the UK ecosystem.
The event, chaired by Andrea Ash, heard how venture and growth opportunities haven’t always been a perfect for institutional investors’ portfolios due to capacity constraints and ticket sizes. However, the government’s drive to fuel UK growth and asset allocators’ search for superior risk-adjusted returns has generated increasing momentum towards the sector.
